Giving birth to one baby is wonderful, but what about four at the same time? Yang Chunyan, a migrant worker from Jiangsu Province, gave birth to two boys and two girls last Thursday in a Shanghai hospital.

The four babies were named Dongdong, Fangfang, Mingming and Zhuzhu, which, put together, mean "Oriental Pearl", the alias of Shanghai.

But the four babies may have brought Yang more anxiety than happiness. Yang already has a baby girl with inborn heart disease, and raising these babies will be a great burden for the poor family.
