A calligrapher in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province, has just completed an 18-meter scroll that includes more than 90,000 Chinese characters.

And Liu Zhongcheng, 73, says he plans to present the scroll, about the splendid history of the Olympics, to the Organizing Committee of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as a special gift after he mounts it.

It took Liu, who is retired, more than six months to complete his work, working three hours a day in the past month.
