Wednesday should have been a wonderful day for a man in Qiongshan, Hainan. He was fetching his bride for a morning wedding when police detained him.

As it turns out, the man, surnamed Fu, 30, has been at large since he seriously injured a man in December 2005. Someone apparently tipped off police that Fu had come home for his wedding and launched an investigation that resulted in his arrest.
