The oldest person in Xigang District of Dalian, Liaoning, celebrated her birthday on January 25 with many of her neighbors admiring her long years of good health.

Kong Shuzhen, 104, has no health problems aside from a mild hearing loss, her 79-year-old granddaughter-in-law said.

She likes to go for walks when the weather is nice and watch television at night. Her eyesight is still quite good, the granddaughter-in-law said.

She eats all kinds of fresh vegetables and coarse cereals, rather than just wheat and rice, with only a little fish and meat. That is how she has achieved a long and healthy life, she said.
