Traffic on the Shawan Highway in Shenzhen came to a halt for about 30 minutes last Tuesday because of a colt that ran loose on the road.

The incident took place at about 2 pm. Local traffic police who arrived at the scene captured the young horse by luring it with two baskets of grass.

The horse also drank a pail of water. Where the horse came from and how it reached the highway are still unknown.
