While most Chinese celebrated Spring Festival with food, family and firecrackers, an unlucky man from Taiwan was stuck on a cliff for the holiday, surviving only by eating leaves and drinking bottled water.

The man, surnamed Zhong, fell off a 60-meter-high cliff while inspecting a fruit orchard on a mountain on February 17. As he had been trained on how to survive in the wild, he looked healthy when on Sunday a photographer found him. The photographer called for help, and a team rescued Zhong three hours later.
