Travelers to Germany to be part of artwork(China Daily)Updated: 2007-03-02 09:01 Chinese artist, curator and architect Ai Weiwei has attracted attention by posting a message on his personal blog inviting 1,001 Chinese people to accompany him to an art show in Germany. All travelers must be aged 18 to 60 and would form part of his work Fairy Tales, to be displayed at the Documenta Art Exhibition in Kassel in June. However, he refused to reveal what these participants would need to do during the show. The German organizer would cover all the participants' expenditures on transportation and accommodation.
