A resident of Changsha, Hunan, whose male cat added more than half its weight during Spring Festival advertised in the media on Tuesday, seeking ways to help the cat lose weight.

The master, surnamed Luo, said the cat, named Ying Jun, weighed more than 9 kilograms after the holiday, compared with less than 6 kilograms in early February.

Luo said he let the cat named Ying Jun, who is now moving at a fraction of its usual speed, eat constantly in the past month.
