Tourists had to hold their urine while touring Wanluyuan Garden, a major scenic spot in Haikou, Hainan, on Tuesday morning. None of the four public toilets was available because of a dispute with the maintenance staff.

Those who were bursting had to take taxis to nearby hotels.

The janitors have been busy since the Lunar New Year holiday began and refused to get up early to open the toilets to tourists.
