A young couple in Pudong District of Shanghai who were married one day after they met got a divorce on Tuesday, ending their one-month marriage.

The man, surnamed Zhang, and the woman, surnamed Wang, fell in love at first sight on a blind date on December 30. Believing a superstition that 2007 would not be an auspicious year for weddings, Zhang proposed to Wang, who agreed after having some hesitation. Unfortunately, they quarreled during the honeymoon, and it went downhill from there.
