It's a new fashion trend for expectant mothers in Harbin, Heilongjiang, to make photo albums to record the happiness each one feels during pregnancy.

Most women who make pregnancy albums are in their early 30s and are open-minded and enthusiastic about life. A mother-to-be surnamed Zhang said she wanted to record the period of pregnancy and let her child know the hardship in the future.

Some would-be mothers even made an album every month until the delivery of their babies as a way to keep a real record of the most beautiful and proudest times in their life for themselves and their babies.
