Carrying a bottle of sesame oil and four bananas for her relatives, Jia Chunai took the lift in a hospital in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, on February 7. She walked out of the lift into the dark equipment room all alone without a way out. She remained alive with the help of the bananas she had until two workers came down for repair work and discovered her.

"That was really a nightmare for me," she said on Saturday, indicating that she was considering suing the hospital.
