Wild ducks go undercover

Researchers at Poyang Lake, a fresh water body in Jiangxi Province, have equipped 20 wild ducks with monitors to help shed some light on migratory birds' winter practices and reproduction.

Workers at the Poyang Lake Reserve have made the wild ducks in the area into their "spies" revealing the hidden lives of the lake's migratory birds. They said the information would help them better protect bird species.
