A woman in Chengdu, Sichuan, accused a man whom she met for the first time of being a swindler after he dined with her and attempted to leave without paying the bill.

A mutual friend had arranged the blind date for the two.

The couple met at a restaurant for lunch, but the man, who was not attracted to the woman, planned to leave the restaurant without saying anything.

However, the woman caught him before he could do that.

Accusing him of cheating her out of the lunch, the woman called the police who made the man pay for his share of the lunch.

The man said he was not interested in the woman, but did not want to hurt her feelings.
