Photography enthusiasts Deng Qian
and Yang Qu decided to celebrate their love for each other by incorporating a
photographic exhibition into their wedding reception.
On Saturday, the couple traveled from Macao to their hometown of Chongqing in
southwest China to hold their combined wedding reception/photographic exhibition
several months after they tied the knot.
More than 100 photos of the couple's life together were on display, as well
as the people and sites of Chongqing and Macao.
Deng Qian said the belated exhibition/wedding was exactly what she had dreamt
of.
She takes photos as a hobby, while her husband is a professional
photographer. The couple had to delay their wedding reception due to
work-related demands but they planned their combined reception/exhibition for a
long time.
Deng Qian says she originally only wanted to show her family their life in
Macao, but she later decided to share their love and happiness with more people.
